Nick Gerecitano

Hello!  I’m Nick Gerecitano and I’d like to thank you for coming by my website.

I’ve been in the television industry for over 15 years now and have worked at some of the biggest networks and sports brands in the world.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Electronic Media from Berry College in 2006.  I earned my Masters of Entertainment Business from Full Sail University in 2011.

I got my start in Television as a temp within Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, Georgia working with Cartoon Network, CNN, and various other departments within the company.

My next stop was with Gospel Music Channel, which has since re-branded to UPtv.  I spent over four years with GMC

starting as a production assistant and expanding my skillset to include camera operator, director, editor, and AV tech specialist.  With the skills I gained from my time at GMC, I set my sights on new opportunities.

From Atlanta I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and started working at Ultimate Fighting Championship.  I’ve been with the company for over 10 years, starting out as a night-shift Assistant Editor and moving on to various Editor roles before reaching the position of Producer for Long Form Content.

In my current role as Producer, I oversee nearly 100 hours of broadcast content delivered to ESPN each year, deliver dozens of hours of content to UFC’s OTT platform UFC Fight Pass, and work in pre-production, studio production, field production, and post-production for nearly all the shows that come through UFC.  I manage a team of editors assigning them various projects to work on while creating schedules to guide the whole department through the post-production process of editing, editorial review, QC review, mixing, captioning, and final delivery.

Throughout my time at UFC, I have won two Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Edited Event Coverage, been nominated a total of five times, and won multiple Telly Awards.

I have learned so much and gained a multitude of experience in my time at UFC, but I’m always looking for exciting new opportunities to continue learning and expanding my skills and to share what I’ve learned on the way with others.

Again, thank you for stopping by and I hope you like the work you see on this site.
